FAQ

1. What are Lightroom presets?

A preset is a configuration of settings, designed to achieve a certain look or style of your photo. With just one click on a preset, your photo can be altered to have a certain look or to achieve the tones you desired. The presets provided on this page are compatible with Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Lightroom CC and Adobe Lightroom Mobile (free to use).

2. How do I install a preset?

Please have a look at the offical Adobe Support Page. If you are having trouble installing your presets, just contact me.

3. The preset doesn’t seem to work on my image, what can I do?

A huge factor that influences the look of your image is the exposure/lighting it was taken with. If you under- or overexpose your photos while shoting simply move the exposure slider in Lightroom after you applied the preset.

Another aspect is that some presets contain radial or linear gradients. Depending on your picture, you might want to move them to another position, change their exposure/colouring or remove them.

Finally, there is not one preset that will “work” on every picture. It will give a certain tone or look to your pictures but sometimes you will have to play around with the sliders to give your image a pleasing look.
